HARD SHELL JIGS

'Hard Shell' jigs are named for the exterior coating.  These Jigs are constructed using a metal jig with a resin coating surrounding them for a more durable, translucent lure.  The lure itself gives a larger overall presentation because of the presence of the coating as part of the overall construction.  These jigs have a slightly different action and flutter in the water when descending or being retrieved than a standard metal jig.  Use these jigs for casting to feeding fish or as a subsurface presentation.
