Monomoy Tackle 'Mini' Jigheads have been created to perform in shallow water applications using lighter tackle and lighter line.  They are particularly effective in estuaries, back waters, near shore, flats, and all freshwater situations.
 
The tail shape, size of the paddle, the hook size and position in the tail all play in roll in giving the bait a pronounced movement of the tail and thumping action in the water and slow retrieves.  Integrated Corckscrew detail keeps soft plastic paddletail securely in place.
 
Jigheads are poured with Zinc Alloy.  The Zinc is better for the environment and the Zinc allows for a larger jighead at the same weight as lead which creates a more proportional realistic looking head paired with the paddletail.   The Zinc having a greater buoyancy than lead gives the lure that extra moment in front of the fish on a decent.  The buoyancy also allows the jig to be retrieved slower and still be off the shallow bottom.
 
The Jigheads have recessed eye slots and molded to gills.  Along with the selected finishes, these jigheads pair well with Monomoy Tackle 3" Paddletail soft plastics.
